Open Profile → Your data to export a portable backup. If the app behaves unexpectedly, close and reopen it before resetting. A reset permanently removes device-only data.
Device data
Version 1.0 stores your W-Counts profile and history on your device. Export a portable backup before removing the app, resetting it, or changing phones.
Protect exported backups
A W-Counts backup is readable, unencrypted JSON. It can contain your profile, habits, notes, history, and schedule. Store it somewhere you trust, share it only with people you choose, and delete copies you no longer need.
Scheduled reminders
W-Counts asks for notification permission only after you enable scheduled reminders. If permission was denied, open iOS Settings → Notifications → W-Counts to change it.
Lock-screen previews
Enabled reminders can show habit names and minimums in notification previews, including on the Lock Screen. iOS notification preview settings control when that content is visible.
Erase local data
Choose Reset app and onboarding on the Profile screen to erase the W-Counts data stored on this device. This cannot be undone, so export first if you need a backup.
When contacting support
Include the app version, device model, iOS version, the screen involved, and what you expected. Never send a password or verification code.
